Its finally here!!!!  The one event that millions of people watch every year, the NFL super bowl.  Throughout this post I will preview each individual match up.  First up is coaching.  Both of these coaches have only been at these organizations for a year or two and are untested.  Both are good coaches, that is the reason why they are here.  For Mike Tomlin I am giving him a 9.  He makes a lot of good decisions and knows what his teams strengths are.  The same goes for Ken Whisenhunt, but I give him an 8.5 because Tomlin has had prior playoff expierience.  Next up is perhaps the most interesting category, run offense.  The Cardinals have made great strides in the playoffs with there running game and have shown that they are not afraid to run it.  The steelers on the other hand, are known as a running team, but have not had great sucess with it so far this year.  With frequent injuries to Willie Parker, they have been unable to get a consistent running game going.  I give the Steelers an 8 and Cardinals an 8.  Next up is the Cardinals strongest category, pass offense.  Everyone knows about the Cardinals 3 different 1,00 yard recievers; Anquan Boldin, Steve Breaton, and Larry Fitzgerald.  On top of this they have Kurt Warner at quarterback.   The Steelers though, are hard to judge.  Personally, I do not think that their pass offense is very good.  Other than their quarterback, they have no playmakers.  Hines Ward is the best reciever and he is only an average reciever.  I give the Steelers an 8 and Cardinals a 9.  Now on to defense.  Everyone knows that the Steelers are good at every kind of defense and that is why I give them a 9.5 for run defense and 9 for pass defense.  The Cardinals are a wild card though.  Their defense has improved but I still have my doughts.  I give them a 8.5 for run defense and a 8.5 for pass defense.  Finally, we have special teams.  Both teams have a little above average special teams so I give them each a 9.  I think that a lot of people are picking the Steelers, like me, but if you look at the average the teams are not too far apart; Steelers have a 8.75 and Cardinals 8.58.  I agree with the ratings and my super bowl prediction is Cardinals:23 Steelers:27
