Basketball is my sport. I love basketball. My dream is to get on the middle school basketball team. I practice all the time and I am just waiting for tryouts in the winter. I am very anxious and excited. The best part about it is that I know that if I do my best then I can get on the team. I will be so excited if I make the team.

Ever since I was in fourth grade I have wanted to play on a actual basketball team. Even at that age people were giving me compliments about my game. Although it was mostly teachers I thought it actually meant that I was a good basketball player. Even though those compliments didn’t mean that I was really good I thought that it did.

So that is when I realized that basketball was my sport. I really took those compliments to heart and that’s when my love for basketball began. So I am just waiting for that day when I find out if I am on the middle school basketball team. I’m hoping!!
